Camila Gusmão DDCD
Camila Gusmão is an accomplished interior designer whose life and work reflect a world of inspiration. Originally from Brazil and raised in South Florida, she has spent much of her life traveling the globe — living in Central and South America and across Europe before returning home to settle in South Florida in 2014. Her international experiences have shaped her design philosophy, infusing each project with a refined global sensibility and an appreciation for culture, texture, and beauty.
Before pursuing interior design, Camila began her creative journey in the world of fashion, earning a master’s degree in Luxury Brand Management. The skill sets learned through fashion design proved remarkably applicable to interior design — developing her eye for proportion, color, and composition. An extremely outside-the-box thinker, Camila approaches every project with curiosity, optimism, and resourcefulness. There are very few situations where she’s stumped; her clients often call her an “interior design MacGyver” for her uncanny ability to find creative solutions to almost any challenge.
Camila describes herself as a “people person,” someone who connects easily and genuinely—but she’s also learned the value of confidence and clear boundaries. “I know what I bring to the table,” she says, “and I value clients who value that in me.” Her clients can expect a personalized, worry-free design journey. She guides them through every element ensuring clarity, collaboration, and accountability. Together, they craft interiors that reflect each client’s lifestyle, aesthetic, and aspirations, resulting in beautifully curated spaces that feel effortlessly cohesive.
As a mother of two and a devoted member of her community, Camila finds purpose in connection and giving back. She is actively involved in charitable organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation and participates regularly in her church and neighborhood initiatives.
